It was three years after the end of WW I that the Post Office allowed slogan cancels again, confined to matters relevant to the postal services or which highlighted important national events.
Post Early for Christmas: note the change in format for the later cancels, with the bars either side of "FOR" being omitted.
Post Early in the Day: continuing campaign to get the public to adopt practices that made it easier for the Post Office.
