Some more Parcel Post Labels - Taunton, and Ilminster area

Following on from my previous post, I've been working through my rather battered copy of The Parcel Post of the British Isles by James Mackay to work out what the different types of Parcel Post Label (PPL) are.  The sheet below is my shorthand summary from the book (without clear punctuation).

Here is a sheet of PPLs for Taunton from 1896 to 1904.  I have one slight problem; the top right PPL dated 12th December 1900 appears to me to be a Type R (dot after LIST, no dot after Number, dot after Postge), but Mackay says that was issued in 1901.  It could be Type N (I can't see the difference between Type N and Type R) but Mackay says Type N is 'mainly London'.  Is there another reference I could consult ?

Skeletons from Crewkerne and Montacture

Here are a couple more skeletons, the first from Crewkerne in 1898 - the skeleton is known used from 17th September to 7th October 1898.

The second is from Montacute - it is known used from 5th to 21st January 1906.  Its use was imediately after a different skeleton ("MONTACUTE / SOMERSET" rather than "MONTACUTE / ILMINSTER") which is known from 14th December to 24th December 1905.  I wonder what was in use from 25th December to 4th January ??

Montacute in the Yeovil Penny Post, 1839

The wrapper below went from Montacute (based on the filing note) in the Yeovil Penny Post and then to London in August 1839.

Montacute is thought to have had the boxed "No.1" receiving house handstamp in the Yeovil Penny Post but no clear examples have been recorded.  It is also thought to have been in the South Petherton Penny Post.  It is shown in the 1838 Post Office Accounts as having an annual income of 7s-11d against South Petherton so examples will be extremely rare.

Moving on to Mark Causeway, here are a single circle cancel from 1917 and a double circle one from 1947.

... North Newton, single circle cancels from 1910 and 1915 - the apparent slight difference in sizes may just be the spread of the ink.
